In the shadow of Mont Blanc, Megève beguiles visitors with its enduring charm. In winter, the village buzzes with life, between lively après-ski activities and visits to elegant boutiques. Summer unveils a network of Alpine trails and cycling routes winding through breathtaking mountain scenery, where visitors can find space to reconnect with nature and themselves. Perched at 2,300 metres, Val Thorens is a vibrant, cosmopolitan ski resort offering an impressive array of winter sports and activities. Our Beaumier hotels – L’Alpaga in Megève, Le Val Thorens and Le Fitz Roy in Val Thorens – integrate naturally within these pristine mountain landscapes. With their exceptional locations, they offer unforgettable escapes among the peaks, perfectly balancing relaxation and adventure.
Megève suits those who want a charming mountain village — cobbled streets, artisan boutiques and a relaxed pace alongside the skiing. Val Thorens is for those who want to be at altitude, in the heart of the largest ski area in the world, with the slopes right at the door.
Winter (December to April) is the classic season — long days on the slopes, hearty mountain food and the particular pleasure of a hot bath after cold air. In summer, Megève opens up a different landscape entirely: wildflower meadows, hiking trails and cooler temperatures when the rest of Europe swelters.
Megève was built for a certain art de vivre that goes well beyond the slopes. The village itself is worth the trip — its weekly market, spa culture, restaurants and surrounding countryside make for a full and unhurried stay, whatever the season.
L'Alpaga in Megève is directly connected to the Grand Massif and Évasion Mont-Blanc ski areas. Le Fitz Roy and Le Val Thorens are at the heart of Les 3 Vallées — at 600 km of marked runs, the largest linked ski area in the world.
Megève is a wonderful summer destination. The valleys offer hiking, cycling and mountain biking in a landscape of extraordinary scale, with reliably cool temperatures and a fraction of the crowds of coastal resorts.
The nearest airport to Megève is Geneva (1h15 by car). Val Thorens is accessible from Lyon (2h) and Geneva (2h30). Both resorts are well served by shuttle services from the main airports during the winter season.
