Winter 2027 is now open for booking. Reserve your escape here.

Every moment has its place at Le Val Thorens. Le 1971 keeps the day moving, from pizza at lunch to après-ski turned DJ set, a rib-eye at sunset and one last cocktail before the night takes over.

Come evening, La Fondue comes alive, an alpine dinner giving way to a livelier second service, where good music carries the night that little bit further.

LE 1971: COCKTAILS, PIZZAS AND DJ SETS

Velvet seats, warm wood, a fire crackling in the corner: inside, Le 1971 is made for lingering. Step onto the terrace, where cocktails with a modern twist, live music and Europe's highest resort come alive together.

Homemade pizzas, vibrant street food, lively lunches that stretch into evening — a bar-restaurant with a playful Seventies flair, buzzing from morning to night.

Open daily
The bar, from 09:00 to midnight
The terrace-restaurant, from 09:00 to 18:00
DJ set, 15:00 to 19:00 (Saturdays excluded)

LA FONDUE: SAVOYARD SOUL, FESTIVE SPIRIT

Dinner begins around the table at La Fondue. Fondue, raclette, tartiflette: the alpine classics set the tone, family and friends around the table.

As the lights soften for second service, the atmosphere turns naturally more vibrant. Great music and shared tables turn dinner into one of Val Thorens' most memorable nights.

Open every day for dinner from 6:45pm to 9:45pm.

HALF BOARD

Day by day, Le Val Thorens starts to feel like home. No planning, just the freedom to choose. Le 1971 one night, La Fondue's cheese classics the next, or Beca at Le Fitz Roy next door for a change of scenery (supplement applies).

These are the advantages of half board, reserved for our hotel guests.

BREAKFAST

Jams, dairy, fresh bread, granola, fruit, eggs, pastries, hams, cheeses — the region shows up at breakfast. At Le 1971, the buffet sets the tone for the day ahead.

Every day, 07:30 to 10:00, for our hotel guests.
